The All-American Rejects Back with New Album, ‘Kids in the Street’

Alternative pop band All-American Rejects ready fourth studio LP

Nearly a decade has passed since Stillwater, Okla.-founded alternative pop band the All-American Rejects released their self-titled debut, and since then, the gentlemen have proved they’re capable songwriters and skilled instrumentalists. Over the years, the Rejects have scored a plethora of catchy, pop-rock hits, such as “Swing, Swing,” “The Last Song,” “Move Along” and “Dirty Little Secret.”

Next up, the All-American Rejects are prepping to release their fourth studio album, “Kids in the Street,” which will reach stores and online March 27. The album’s first single, “Beekeeper’s Daughter,” will be available for download beginning on Jan. 31. The single will also get a plug on an upcoming episode of “90210,” airing on the CW on the same day.

In other band news, the Rejects are asking fans to send in their own “Kids in the Street”-inspired stories. Interested fans may visit this Tumblr page to submit their “favorite moments in life,” such as, “paintings, photos, videos, interpretive dances– whatever expresses who you are, will do,” the site states. “Show us anything you can that captures a moment in your life or reflection on your life.” Winners will get access to a special, “Kids in the Street,” event with the guys, plus get their submissions posted to the site. Meanwhile, the All-American Rejects are setting off on the, “Shaking off the Rust Tour,” which starts Jan. 18 in San Luis Obispo, Calif.
