Frances Bean Cobain and fiance Isaiah Silva are ‘homebodies’

Frances Bean Cobain’s fiance Isaiah Silva, who heads up California rock band the Rambles, says the couple are madly in love. “We’re each other’s everything,” Silva, 26, told People about his relationship with Cobain, 19, the daughter of late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain.

Silva added that, despite what you would think a rock ‘n’ roll couple’s lifestyle would entail, the two stay away from the party scene. “We’re homebodies. We don’t go out to clubs so you won’t find us stumbling out of them with Lindsay Lohan,” he said. “We stay at home, read books and watch [TV show] ‘Arrested Development.’”

Band made Mark Kuchel echoed Silva’s sentiments: “They’re quiet and shy. They’re a great couple. Frances comes to most of our shows that she can get into.”

Silva added that he’s always looked up to women with intelligence and drive: “I love strong, opinionated, intelligent women.” He also says that life hasn’t been easy for the musician– perhaps something he shares with Cobain. “I had to grow up much faster than I would have liked,” he said. “I’ve been through a lot. But now, I’m totally happy.”

The Rambles are schedule to appear at SXSW in Texas in March will release their latest EP, recorded with producer Keith Stegall of the Zac Brown Band, in 2012.

Alternative rock personality Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins recently told the Las Vegas Review that he feels and obligation to “watch out” for Cobain. “It’s sort of an in-the-family kind of thing. I first met her when she was a little baby, basically. So it’s like any time a little thing comes into the world, you connect with them at that age, and you want to keep an eye on them.” Read more on the Pumpkins’ artist page.
