Soundgarden photos will get featured in a new ‘fan-based photo journal’

Look for a new fan-based book on ‘90s grunge band Soundgarden to hit stores the end of this year. Photofantasm™ Books has announced that they will release a “fan-based photo journal over two years in the making documenting Soundgarden’s reunion” in December, so the book will pay homage to the past few years of Soundgarden mayhem.

The company is asking fans to submit their Soundgarden concert photos for consideration to be included in the book. Here’s the solicitation from their official website:

“We’re looking for fan photos! If you are a fan photographer, or photographer who is a fan, and interested in participating in Spoondog Entertainment Group, LLC photo book Photofantasm™ Soundgarden Edition 2010-2012 please request to join the following closed facebook group for submission details https://www.facebook.com/groups/332633590157572/ or email us at info@SpoondogEntertainment.com.

“We are looking for Soundgarden photos AND great fan/crowd photos between 2010, 2011 and 2012 shows. You need to solely own the photos to participate. Please see http://www.facebook.com/SpoondogEntertainment for additional updates.”

Chris Cornell and the men of Soundgarden have been busy working on their new album, which is expected to drop sometime this fall. They recently released a new single from the upcoming album, “Live to Rise,” plus a music video featuring playing footage, which can be viewed here. “Live to Rise” also appears on the soundtrack for the feature film, “The Avengers.”
