Mark Tremonti, Zakk Wylde, David Draiman and more will appear on the upcoming season of ‘That Metal Show’
VH1 Classic’s “That Metal Show” is starting at its 11th season, with hosts Eddie Trunk, Jim Florentine and Don Jamieson firmly in place. As for guests for the fresh season, the show has announced that Black Label Society’s Zakk Wylde, Iron Maiden bass player Steve Harris, King Diamond, Evan Seinfeld of Biohazard and Attika 7, Mark Tremonti of Creed and Alter Bridge and former Queensryche singer Geoff Tate will all make appearances.
The season will pack eight shows, with some of them shot last March and more being shot beginning Aug. 5. The first episode will bring Adrenaline Mob members Russell Allen, Mike Orlando and Mike Portnoy on the show, as well as Disturbed frontman Dave Draiman. Lita Ford and Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart will represent the ladies this season.
More guests on the new season of ‘That Metal Show’ will include John 5 from Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie, Sammy Hagar of Van Halen and Chickenfoot and metal singer King Diamond. Season 11 of ‘That Metal Show’ will kick off Aug. 11 on VH1 Classic.
“This round was a bit of a challenge since so many bands are on tour in the summer,” Trunk wrote on the show’s official website. “But I hope you will agree we have a tremendous roster of new and returning guests and rock, hard rock and metal represented. I appreciate you all watching and supporting the show as always.”
