Welsh metal band Bullet for My Valentine will release a new album in 2013

It’s official: New Bullet for My Valentine music is on its way! The beloved Welsh metal band announced Monday (Oct. 29) that their upcoming fourth studio album will arrive early next year. The guys also announced the title of the album, and they’re naming it “Temper Temper.”

“Temper Temper” is the follow-up to Bullet for My Valentine’s 2010 smash release “Fever,” which entered the Billboard 200 chart at No. 3 and ended up pushing over 500,000 copies around the world.

As for when to expect a taste of the new tracks, the band will release the album’s first single, the title track, via all digital outlets on Nov. 25. The full album is scheduled to drop on Feb. 12, 2013.

Last time Bullet for My Valentine were in the U.S. was during last year’s Rockstar Uproar Festival, and on tour, Michael “Padge” Paget told Audio Ink Radio that playing the U.S. is always a blast. “It was awesome, especially the first time we went [to the U.S.], because I had never been there before,” Paget said. “You kind of imagine it’s going to be like what you see in the movies, and it is, and everyone is really cool and friendly. But you just go out there and play guitar, and then it starts to feel more like a home show.” (Photo credit: Anne Erickson.)
