Frances Bean Cobain tweeted a small Christmas greeting to her mother this week

It’s no secret that there’s a feud of sorts between Hole frontwoman Courtney Love and Frances Bean Cobain, her daughter by late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. On Christmas day, Francis tweeted a Christmas greeting to her mother, writing, “@Courtney merry Christmas kooksmcgee.”

The small gesture made Love’s Christmas, and she answered to Frances, “That was best Christmas gift ever. proudest mama in the world thank you Bean. means the world to me.” She added, “That tweet was the best gift ever, its all I need even if its a dammed social network. Miss that little head of yours,” and, “That beautiful little head, and those long legs…” Love also re-tweeted Frances’ original post.

As for the history of Frances’ feud with her mother, TMZ reports that three years ago, a judge issued a restraining order prohibiting Courtney from contacting her then-17-year-old daughter. Since then, the two have engaged in several public feuds, such as one in which Frances famously blamed her mom for her dog and cat dying. Aside from all the drama, are these Christmas tweets is a sign that mother and daughter are on the road to patch things up? Only time will tell.
