Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Rise Against to Play Carolina Rebellion

The 2013 Carolina Rebellion lineup includes Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Rise Against and more

One summer music festival after another is announcing its lineup, and now, the folk behind the Carolina Rebellion festival unleashed their A-list collection of players for this year’s show. Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Rise Against and Limp Bizkit will all bring their talents to the 2013 festival, which is set to take place May 4 and 5 at the Rock City Campgrounds at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C.

Carolina Rebellion will be one of the only opportunities for fans to catch a Rise Against show in 2013. “After wrapping up our last U.S. tour, we were planning on recharging our batteries for a while, but we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to play with the mighty Soundgarden in what will be one of the only shows we’ll play in the U.S. this year,” Rise Against frontman Tim Mcllrath said in an official statement.

Other artists slated to rock the stage at the Carolina Rebellion festival include Deftones, 3 Doors Down, Bush, Three Days Grace, Papa Roach, Volbeat, Otherwise, Escape the Fate, Pop Evil, Thousand Foot Krutch, Aranda, Halestorm and Hollywood Undead, among others.
