Florence + the Machine, Jack White, Gotye to Appear on ‘The Great Gatsby’ Soundtrack

The soundtrack for ‘The Great Gatsby’ will feature a slew of star-studded musicians

The soundtrack for the upcoming feature film “The Great Gatsby” is shaping up to include a star-studded list of players. Florence + the Machine, Jack White, Gotye and Beyonce are among the big names slated to lend tracks to the new collection.

Jack White will offer up his cover of U2’s “Love Is Blindness” for set, while Gotye’s “Hearts a Mess” off his 2006 album “Like Drawing Blood” will appear on the soundtrack. Meanwhile, Florence + the Machine and The xx will contribute an exclusive new track for the album.

The soundtrack for “The Great Gatsby” will arrive via digital outlets on May 7, with a special deluxe version of the album with three bonus tracks arriving at Target stores the same day. “The Great Gatsby” movie will reach movie theaters on May 10. The flick stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire and Carey Mulligan.
