Corey Taylor will tour this summer to support his upcoming book, ‘You’re Making Me Hate You’
Stone Sour and Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor has a new book on the way, “You’re Making Me Hate You,” and he’ll hit the road on a solo tour this July to promote the release. Each stop on the tour will offer acoustic performances, readings and audience discussion with Taylor.
Taylor’s solo tour will kick off July 7 in New York City. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit Taylor’s official website.
“Whether it’s people’s rude behavior in restaurants and malls, the many indignities of air travel, eye-searingly terrible fashion choices, dangerously clueless drivers and — most of all — the sorry state of much modern music, Taylor’s humor and insight cover civil society’s seeming decline — sparing no one along the way, least of all himself,” states the official description of the book, “You’re Making Me Hate You.”
“You’re Making Me Hate You,” out July 7, isn’t Taylor’s first book endeavor. He previously released “Seven Deadly Sins” in 2011 and “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Heaven” in 2013. Both reads were New York Times bestsellers.
At the moment, Taylor is touring with Slipknot. Later this summer, he’ll also take the band on the “Summer’s Last Stand” tour with Lamb of God, Bullet for My Valentine and Motionless in White. “Summer’s Last Stand kicks off July 24 in West Palm Beach, Fla.
