Brent Smith and Zach Myers of Shinedown will go unplugged this December

Shinedown vocalist Brent Smith and guitarist Zach Myers have announced an acoustic tour set for this December as Smith & Myers. The tour, which will be completely unplugged, will set of on Dec. 4 in Destin, Florida, and run through a Dec. 19 stop in in Libertyville, Illinois. For full ticket details, head to Shinedown.com.

“Don’t miss an intimate evening with Brent & Zach as they perform some Shinedown favorites along with unique covers of classic and contemporary hit,” a statement from the band promises.

Smith & Myers already have two acoustic Eps out, which has the guys covering tunes by the Clash, Pearl Jam, Metallica, the Black Crowes and more.

In other news, Shinedown are currently on the road to promote their latest album, “Threat to Survival.” They’re touring with fellow modern hard rockers Breaking Benjamin.
