Former Skid Row singer Sebastian Bach is rocking solo shows this year

Sebastian Bach has a busy spring ahead. The former Skid Row frontman has announced a round of solo U.S. tour dates that will treat fans to both a stripped-down, unplugged performance and an electric set with a band.

The tour, named “An Evening with Sebastian Bach,” will launch on April 27 in Jacksonville, Florida, and run through a June 3 show in Salt Lake City.

“‘An Evening with Sebastian Bach.’ No, that doesn’t mean we’re going to end up in the back of a police car,” Back said in a statement. “It means that for selected shows on the upcoming tour, we want to do something brand-new. Let’s bring the music back to its purest form…You’re going to get two sets for the price of one. We’re going to open up the show with some stripped-down tunes, re-set the stage, and then come back with the Big Guns.”

As for Bach’s upcoming autobiography, “18 and Life on Skid Row,” the book’s released date has been pushed back to June 28. Bach says he’ll use the extra time to dig up special archival content.

“’18 and Life on Skid Row’ could also be called the Skid Row Archives,” he said. “I am giving you my personal collection, photos, & documents none of you have ever seen. A lot of them.”
