Coldplay have announced more dates for their 2017 trek

Chris Martin and the Coldplay gang are touring North America this year, and their trek just got larger. The band has added new tour dates in Los Angeles, Toronto and Edmonton to their 2017 North American roster in support of “Head Full of Dreams.”

Coldplay’s tour will still set off August 1 in New York and run through an Oct. 8 show in San Diego. The new shows include stops in Toronto on Aug. 22, Edmonton on Sept. 27 and Los Angeles on Oct. 6. The Canadian shows mark Coldplay’s first Canadian appearance in five years.

Coldplay is touring behind their “Head Full of Dreams” album. The set features guest appearances from Beyonce, Noel Gallagher and Tove Lo. In other band news, Coldplay have officially announced the details of their upcoming “Kaleidoscope” EP. The five-track collection, which they first teased the release last year, will arrive June 2. It includes the new track, “Hypnotised,” which is currently available for download.
