Corey Taylor looks for a fashionable outfit in the new Stone Sour video

Stone Sour have a new album on the way called “Hydrograd,” and one of the early tracks off the album, “Song #3,” has already become a fan favorite. The melodic rock number soars with big hooks and towering guitars, and that big, melodic nature has made the song a natural to get comparisons to Stone Sour’s massive ballad hit, “Through Glass.”

Now, Corey Taylor and the guys of Stone Sour have premiered the official music video for “Song #3,” and it’s an amusing one. Watch the video on Stone Sour’s official website at StoneSour.com and below.

The “Song #3” video stars Taylor searching long and hard for the perfect outfit for a video shoot. At first, he sports an ’80s hair metal appearance, followed by a wedding singer kind of tuxedo. Taylor’s band mates in Stone Sour get tired of his outfit fetish and leave to perform the song in their regular cloths.

Taylor finally gets the message and gets back into his normal clothes and joins back up the band to close out the song.

“Hydrograd” will arrive June 30. In other news, Stone Sour will be playing shows across North America this summer to promote the release with Korn. That trek kicks off June 16 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The guys also have a collection of headlining appearances this summer, including a stop Aug. 7 at the Jackson County Fair in Jackson, Michigan.
