The 2017 Louder than Life festival brings together a collection of metal and hard rock acts

Louder Than Life festival is back in 2017, and the just-announced roster brings together a collection of high-profile metal and hard rock artists, from statesmen to up-and-comers. This year’s lineup will bring headlining sets from Ozzy Osbourne and Prophets of Rage, as well as additional performances from Five Finger Death Punch, Incubus and Rob Zombie.

“Prophets of Rage are psyched to bring a brass knuckle Marshall Stack beatdown to the Louder Than Life festival,” Tom Morello said in a statement. “We are gonna unleash the rage, bring the noize and take the power back so come on down and get some.”

Mike Einziger of Incubus added, “We’re excited to be returning to Louisville and playing the Louder Than Lifefestival on October 1st with our friends, Prophets of Rage and all the other great bands on this amazing lineup. It’s going to be a great show and we can’t wait to see everyone!”

The 2017 Louder than Life bill brings dozens of other groups to the stage, too, including Stone Sour, Mastodon, Rise Against, Halestorm, the Pretty Reckless, In This Moment, Eagles of Death Metal, Of Mice & Men, Gojira, Nothing More, Falling in Reverse, Beartooth, Lacuna Coil, Through Fire and Starset.

Louder Than Life is set for Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 in Louisville, Kentucky. Tickets for the event are on sale now.
