Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl and Guns N’ Roses Perform ‘Paradise City’ in Tulsa

Story by Charles Ken

Guns N’ Roses have enjoyed a bevy of surprise performers on their “Not In This Lifetime Tour,” including pop star Pink and ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons.

Now, none other than Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has joined Guns N’ Roses for the show. Grohl jumped on the stage during the band’s show last night (Nov. 14) at the BOK center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to perform “Paradise City,” the final song of their set.

Find fan-shot footage of the high-octane performance below, as well as Guns N’ Roses’ official Facebook stream of a portion of the song.

Given that Grohl has little relation to Tulsa, Oklahoma, what brought him to the gig? According to singer Axl Rose’s statements as he brought his guest on the stage, Grohl “just happened to be in the neighborhood,” since the Foo Fighters are slated to play the same venue tonight (Nov. 15).

Guns N’ Roses are currently on the road for a second year of their “Not In This Lifetime Tour,” which has grossed the band more than $151 million to date. The tour is set to continue into 2018, as Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan recently announced summer 2018 tour dates throughout Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Russia and beyond.
