Hear a rockin’ EDM version of the 2000 Papa Roach hit, ‘Last Resort’

While Papa Roach has achieve many chart-topping rock hits over the years, the song the guys are best known for is “Last Resort.” Any rock lover knows the song introduction by heart: “Cut my life into pieces! This is my last resort!” The song has such a wide-reaching appeal that it even influenced electronic artist Kayzo. Now, Papa Roach and Kayzo have joined forces to release a dance-appropriate EDM remix of the “Last Resort.” The 2000 rock hit appears with a dubstep drop in the remix, appeasing both rock and dance music fans. The remix is available now on the usual digital outlets and can be heard via the Soundcloud player below.

“When the idea came about to collaborate on ‘Last Resort’ and give it my own sound, I was completely blown away,” Kayzo said in a statement. “Papa Roach, among a handful of other bands, were really influential to me in my early teens when I really didn’t know anything about life. To be able to now be in a collaboration with the band still blows my mind.”

“When we heard Kayzo’s remix of ‘Last Resort,’ we knew audiences all over the world would go off to this!” Papa Roach added in a statement.

“Last Resort” first arrived on Papa Roach’s triple-platinum album “Infest” back in 2000. The band has stayed active throughout the years and recently closed out a tour to promote their new studio album, 2017’s “Crooked Teeth.” As for the rest of this year, Papa Roach has a few U.S. and European tour dates scheduled for August.
