Ozzy is hinting at a big return for his Ozzfest festival later this year

Is Ozzfest heading to the New York area in 2018? That’s the message that’s coming from Ozzy Osbourne’s social media accounts.

“Who would like to see an Ozzfest in the New York area this year?” Ozzy stated in a post his official Facebook page, which his wife, Sharon, “liked” on Facebook, to boot. The message was also sent out from the official Ozzfest social media accounts.

The past two Ozzfests were based in San Bernardino, California, and they happened as a joint, two-day festival with Slipknot’s Knotfest. Ozzfest hasn’t been on the East Coast since 2010.

Whether or not Ozzfest returns to the East Coast this year, fans that will will be treated to a handful of New York-area concerts happening in September as part of his No More Tours 2 tour. The New York dates include concerts in in Wantagh, New York, and Holmdel, New Jersey. The final date that’s currently on Ozzy’s 2018 itinerary is an Oct. 13 show in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Ozzy’s farewell tour is currently projected to run at least two years, into 2020. “People keep asking me when I’m retiring,” Ozzy said in an official statement. “This will be my final world tour, but I can’t say I won’t do some shows here and there.”

Right now, Ozzy is on tour in Europe. He’ll kick off his North American tour on Aug. 30 in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
