Killswitch Engage released their latest album, “Atonement,” last week, and one of the most talked-about aspects of the record has been the band’s reunion with former Killswitch Engage and current Light the Torch vocalist Howard Jones. Specifically, Jones sings on the track “The Signal Fire,” which appears on “Atonement.”

Now, Killswitch Engaged has released a music video for “The Signal Fire” featuring a special appearance from Jones. In the video, Jones is back with the guys of Killswitch, which is now fronted by Jesse Leach, and they rock out to a killer live performance. “This video is a demonstration of solidarity and unity,” Leach said in a statement. “This is for the fans and this is our testimony to all who see this video. In these times we live in, I believe this is an important message — not just for us as a band and our fans but for all of humanity. This is a call for compassion and understanding! There is strength in unity.”

Jones became a member of Killswitch Engage after Leach, who was the band’s founding vocalist, left the outfit in 2002. Jones was with Killswitch for a decade, and Leach rejoined the band in 2012. Jones is currently the lead vocalist of metal band Light the Torch. Read Audio Ink’s recent interview with Leach here.

“Atonement” marked Killswitch Engage’s follow-up to their 2016 studio album, “Incarnate.”
