Red Hot: Red Hot Chili Peppers Album Update

The past few years have brought a lot of firsts for alternative rock band The Red Hot Chili Peppers, from bass player Flea studying music theory at USC, to singer Anthony Kiedis having a baby, to drummer Chad Smith recording and touring with Sammy Hagar’s Chickenfoot, to guitarist John Frusciante leaving the band in 2008 and Josh Klinghoffer taking his place. But now, the guys are gearing up for what they collectively do best: make new albums with The Peppers.

Rock News: Smashing Pumpkins Bass Player On Cover Of, ‘Siamese Dream’

Billy Corgan is the king of getting awesome female bass player to back the Smashing Pumpkins, and word is that his latest pick, former Veruca Salt and Spinnerette bassist Nicole Fiorentino, is actually one of the two girls on the cover of, “Siamese Dream,” the band’s 1993 release.
