Watch the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ New Video for ‘The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie’

Unless you’ve been snuggled under a very large boulder — and wearing earplugs — you’ve heard the new track from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the catchy-cool “The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie.” The track comes off the alternative rock band’s forthcoming new album, I’m With You, out Aug. 30. Now, Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith and newbie Josh Klinghoffer have released the official video for the track, and you can watch it, below.

The video starts with the giddy gang rocking out on a rooftop in Venice Beach, Calif., with Kiedis kicking things off bouncing up and down, and Flea taking his righteous pose on top of Smith’s drum kit. The video is picturesque, with bright, blue skies and rippling ocean waves in the distance. It’s also inclusive, with crowds of fans running to get closer to the action, trembling in excitement of seeing their favorite band.

“The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie” reminds fans that the Peppers, more than anything, are a live, rock ‘n’ roll band, raw and real. That’s the Peppers we all know and love, right?
