Pet Shop Boys to release new album

Legendary English electronic pop duo Pet Shop Boys have announced details on their upcoming studio album, “Electric.” The album, produced by Stuart Price, is set to arrive on July 15 through the band’s own label, x2, via Kobalt Label Services. The 50-minute collection will offer eight original tracks and a cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “The Last to Die.”

“Our latest album often evolves as a response to our previous album and, whereas Elysium had a reflective mood, ‘Electric’ is pretty banging!” Chris Lowe and Neil Tennant said in a statement. “And working with Stuart Price on a studio album is something we have wanted to do for a very long time.”

The duo has also announced tour dates in South America, Europe, the Far East and North America. Check out the duo’s North American dates below.
