Mumford & Sons Announce 2013 North American Tour

Mumford & Sons will hit the road this August in support of ‘Babel’

Mumford & Sons recently had to cancel a string of tour dates due to bass player Ted Dwane’s emergency surgery to a eliminate a blood clot from his brain, but the group is started head back out on tour. The neo-folk group has just announced a string of tour dates, set to kick off in Canada the end of August.

The upcoming tour, named The Full English North American Tour, begins Aug. 26 at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre in Toronto, ON. The Vaccines and Bear’s Den will open for Mumford & Sons on certain dates. Of course, expect to hear cuts off the band’s latest album, “Babel.”

The Aug. 28 tour stop at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, N.Y., is part of Mumford & Sons’ Gentlemen of the Road Stopover series, which presents the group playing in a variety of unique venues. The newly-announced shows also include rescheduled dates from their earlier tour that was postponed due to Dwane’s surgery. Check out the full list of North American tour dates below.
