The guys of Alter Bridge have booked tour dates with In Flames as special guests
Alter Bridge are keeping busy on the road this year, as the guys have just announced a new crop of U.S. headlining tour dates for this year.
Opening for select dates of the headlining trek will be Swedish metal band In Flames.
The tour will kick off April 21 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and run through a May 17 stop in Milwaukee. For information and tickets, head to AlterBridge.com.
In addition to the headlining trek, Alter Bridge will appear at a plethora of music festivals this spring. A few festivals on their itinerary include Rock on the Range, Fort Rock, Welcome to Rockville, Carolina Rebellion and Northern Invasion.
Alter Bridge’s 2017 tour dates are to promote their latest studio album, “The Last Hero.” The set boasts two chart-topping rock radio singles in “Show Me a Leader” and “My Champion.”
Alter Bridge guitarist Mark Tremonti recently spoke with Audio Ink Radio about the musical chemistry he has with vocalist Myles Kennedy.
“We’re buds. We’re very open-minded, and we each contribute to each and every song,” Tremonti said. “It’s never one of us who writes whole songs and gives it to the other guy. We’ve contributed on every song on the record, so we both feel very connected with each song.”
