Former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke has a new solo track out called “Tightwad,” and the song features some big names from the rock world. Motley Crue bass player Nikki Sixx and Jane’s Addiction drummer Stephen Perkins both perform on the track, which is available now via digital platforms.

“Tightwad” will arrive on Clarke’s upcoming studio album, “The Gospel Truth,” which will mark his first solo album since 2001’s “Swag.” Clarke has released two other solo songs this year: “The Gospel Truth” and “Rock n’ Roll Is Getting Louder.”

“I was lucky to have some wonderful musician friends contribute to the recording of this track, Nikki Sixx and Stephen Perkins,” Clarke said in a statement. “Stephen, as always, came through with a beat that drives the song and Nikki found a cool bass groove that accentuates the feel I was looking for. I tried to get my message through with humor, but sometimes the truth hurts.”

Clarke played guitar in Guns N’ Roses from 1991 to 1994 and appears on the legendary rock band’s 1993 studio album, “The Spaghetti Incident?” Aside from his prolific solo career, Clarke also performs with former Guns N’ Roses drummer Matt Sorum’s band, The Kings of Chaos.
