Former Oasis Frontman Liam Gallagher Goes Fur-Free
Liam Gallagher says ‘no’ to fur
Former Oasis lead vocalist Liam Gallagher has announced that his fashion label, Pretty Green, is becoming animal-friendly. Gallagher says the label is cutting out all fur products, and they have added their name to the group of fashion lines that have the stamp of approval from longstanding animal rights organization PETA.
“We are delighted to add Liam to the list of truly talented visionaries and trendsetters who are able to design stylish, fashionable and popular clothing without the use of fur,” PETA said in an official statement.
In Oasis news — or, more appropriately, non-Oasis news — guitarist and head songwriter Noel Gallagher was recently asked if the band would ever possibly reunite. His answer? Not surprisingly, he says there’s not a chance. Unless, that is, he ever were to become flat-out broke and needed the money that a reunion would bring.
“What would it take [for Oasis to reunite]? It would take Liam or myself to be very skint, and I know for a fact that ain’t gonna happen,” the High Flying Birds frontman told the British Channel 4 show “Chatty Man” (via NME). ”So other than that, I can’t see it.”
