Alternative rockers the Killers have unleashed their latest holiday song
Las Vegas-based alternative rockers the Killers have a tradition of releasing a Christmas single every year, and the guys have now released their seventh consecutive holiday single, “I Feel It in My Bones.” The festive, retro-sounding song, which is available exclusively on iTunes beginning today (Dec. 4), features guest vocals from Halloween Town singer Ryan Pardey, who also plays Santa in the accompanying music video. Longtime Killers fans will quickly note that “I Feel It in My Bones” is a sequel of sorts to the group’s 2007 holiday track, “Don’t Shoot Me Santa.”
Those who purchase the Killers’ new holiday single will be helping a good cause, as all of the proceeds from the track’s sales will be donated to the RED campaign that fights HIV and AIDS in Africa.
While “I Feel It in My Bones” is the newest Killers Christmas song on the market, fans may also purchase any of the group’s past holiday singles on iTunes, such as 2006’s “A Great Big Sled,” 2007’s “Don’t Shoot Me Santa,” 2008’s “Joseph, Better You than Me,” 2009’s “Happy Birthday Guadalupe,” 2010’s “Boots” and 2011’s “The Cowboys’ Christmas Ball.”
