30 Seconds to Mars are getting ready to release a new single, “City of Angels,” from the band’s current album, “Love Lust Faith + Dreams.” In preparation for the single’s launch to radio, frontman Jared Leto and company have published a mini-film, directed by none other than Leto.
The film, which lives on the group’s Vevo channel, shows the band playing “City of Angels” live on what appears to be a rooftop, looking out over a Los Angeles night. The video also features a collection of famous actors, musicians and athletes giving their tales about life in Los Angeles. A few of those stars include Lindsay Lohan, Kanye West, Selena Gomez, James Franco, Lindsay Lohan, Olivia Wilde and Alan Cumming.
Leto also recalls his decision to move to Los Angeles, saying he needed to move to the “City of Angels” to “make some of my creative dreams come true…I put on a backpack, saved up a couple hundred bucks and I came to Los Angeles to make myself.”
30 Seconds to Mars are back in the U.S. on Nov. 30, playing a show at the Joint in Las Vegas, Nev. To view the full list of the band’s upcoming tour dates, head to 30 Seconds to Mars’ official website.
