Sevendust Announce New Album, ‘Kill the Flaw’
Get ready for new tunes from Atlanta’s Sevendust
Sevendust have been quite for a bit, but the metal guys are back with a new album, “Kill the Flaw.” The 11-track release will arrive on Oct. 2, and the album’s first single, “Thank You,” is already streaming via YouTube.
“Kill the Flaw” will mark the follow-up to Sevendust’s 2014 release, “Tim Travelers & Bonfires,” which was an unplugged acoustic with acoustic versions of some of the Atlanta group’s biggest hits, plus six new acoustic tracks. “Kill the Flaw” is the band’s first plugged-in release since 2013’s “Black Out the Sun.”
“We took some time off from the heavy side of Sevendust and when it came time to record some new music,” singer Lajon Witherspoon said in a statement. “Clint (Lowery), John (Connolly), Vinnie (Hornsby), Morgan (Rose) and I put everything we had in to what became ‘Kill the Flaw.’ We love this new music and we can’t wait to share it with our amazing Sevendust family!”
Here’s the ‘Kill the Flaw’ Track List:
“Thank You”
“Death Dance”
“Forget”
“Letters”
“Cease and Desist”
