Metallica and Jay-Z Get Mixed on ‘Double Black’ Track
Listen to BamBeatz’s mix of Metallica and Jay-Z’s seminal ‘Black’ albums
Metallica and Jay-Z, together in a mix? It’s something you have to hear to believe. RawHustle.com has hooked up with BamBeatz, an up-and-coming hip-hop producer from Miami, to showcase a preview clip from his “Double Black” mixtape, and the track features beats from Metallica’s seminal, self-titled “Black” album and Jay-Z’s pivotal “Black” LP. The two albums celebrated their 20th and 10th anniversaries in 2011, respectively, which made this flawless timing for the mix.
BamBeatz’s full mixtape is slated to hit the streets sometime this spring. The first sample of “Double Black” is available at the end of the post. What do you think of the track? Are Metallica and Jay-Z a match made in mixtape heaven, or is it a no-go?
