Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers and More Confirmed for Bonnaroo 2012
The Beach Boys, Phish, Alice Cooper, Bon Iver, Foster the People and more are slated to play Bonnaroo 2012
The lineup for the 11th annual Bonnaroo Festival packs a punch, featuring both buzzed-about up-and-comers and established names. On the tried-and-true side, there’s Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Phish, Ben Folds Five, the Roots and even Alice Cooper and the legendary Beach Boys. As for newer acts, Bonnaroo’s lineup brings Foster the People, Bon Iver, Skrillex and Young the Giant, among others. It’s a riotously eclectic, head-spinning mix of acts that represents nearly every genre of music, from rap (Ludacris) to reggae (Bad Brains).
Per usual, the performers will unite on the 700-acre Great Stage Park farm in Manchester, Tenn., for a four-day festival of music and camping, this year from June 7 to June 10. The full list of acts includes over 125 bands and 20 comedians performing on 13 stages, and tickets go on sale beginning at noon ET on Saturday, Feb. 18, on the festival’s official website. For the first time this year, the festival has also teamed up with YouTube this year to start Bonnaroo365, a channel with original programming, daily content and some live performances.
Additional acts confirmed for Bonnaroo 2012 include Aziz Ansari, Dispatch, SuperJam, Flogging Molly, Spectrum Road featuring Cindy Blackman Santana, Flying Lotus, Umphrey’s McGee, the Civil Wars, Two Door Cinema Club, Punch Brothers, NEEDTOBREATHE, the Black Lips, SBTRKT, Phantogram, Kendrick Lamar, Charles Bradley and his Extraordinaires, White Denim, EMA, Here We Go Magic, the Kooks, the Joy Formidable, the Antlers, Kathleen Edwards, Mimosa and more. More performers will be announced soon. For the full line-up, check out Bonnaroo’s official website.
