12 Stones Announce Tour with Saliva and Royal Bliss
12 Stones will release their latest studio album, ‘Beneath the Scars,’ on May 22
Hard rockers 12 Stones have announced their first proper tour in support of their upcoming, fourth studio album, “Beneath the Scars,” which is on the books to come out May 22 on Executive Music Group label via Fontana/Universal. 12 Stones, Saliva and Royal Bliss will hit the road beginning April 18 in West Springfield, Va., and play a handful of dates before wrapping up in May 11 in Broussard, La. Find the whole tour timetable, below.
As for the new album, 12 Stones hit up longtime producer Skidd Mills (Skillet, Saving Abel) to help with record sessions for “Beneath the Scars.” While the full album drops on May 22, those who pre-order the set via the band’s official website will have early download access to six songs.
The album’s debut single, “Infected,” was mixed by Chicago-based producer and engineer Johnny K (3 Doors Down, Disturbed, Staind). The track is currently being serviced to active rock radio stations and is available on iTunes and Amazon. Singer Paul McCoy says the “Infected” was inspired by what he sees happening in the world every day. “The song was written about the messed up state of the world,” he said, in a statement. “It speaks about how crazy these times are, and about being fed up with the chaos and hatred.” (Photo credit: Mark Anthony Jeffries.)
