Shinedown, Staind, P.O.D., Papa Roach and More to Play Rockstar Uproar
The Uproar Festival announces 2012 lineup
Summer is just around the bend, and that means summer rock tours are on the way! Shinedown, Staind, Papa Roach and more have been confirmed to head up the lineup for the 2012 Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival, which also packs a wide selection of other chart-topping rockers.
In addition to Shinedown, Staind and Papa Roach, this year’s Rockstar Uproar Festival main stage will bring live performances from Adelitas Way and Godsmack. Rounding out the lineup on the Ernie Ball and Jagermeister stages include P.O.D., Deuce, Fozzy, Redlight King, Mindset Evolution, Candlelight Red, In This Moment and Thousand Foot Krutch.
“This is our first year on the Uproar Festival, and we are honored to be sharing the stage with all the bands…Trust me this is one tour you do not want to miss,” Shinedown lead vocalist Brent Smith said in an official statement. Shinedown are out touring this summer in support of their 2012 release, “Amaryllis.” Shinedown and P.O.D. are also set to play Rock on the Range 2012 from May 18 through 20 in Columbus, Ohio. While specific dates for the Rockstar Uproar Festival have yet to drop, organizers have pegged down that the festival will run from Aug. 15 to Sept. 30. The Uproar Festival has also announced a special giveaway to see the traveling caravan at any of its scheduled dates. For details on the giveaway, visit the festival’s official website.
