The Devil Wears Prada Ready ‘Dead & Alive’ Concert CD/DVD
Christian metal band the Devil Wears Prada release a new live CD/DVD set this week
The summer is a busy one for the Devil Wears Prada. The Christian metal gents are gearing up to set off on the 2012 Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival, plus they’re about to release a new concert CD/DVD, packed with footage from their epic, aggressive live shows.
The CD/DVD set, named “Dead & Alive,” comes behind the group’s 2011 release, “Dead Throne.” The footage was taped during the band’s tour cycle for that last album and features several popular songs off the release, such as the title track “Dead Throne,” “Born to Lose” and more. Other songs on the collection include “Sassafras,” “Born to Lose,” “Mammoth,” “Kansas,” “Assistant to the Regional Manager,” “Dez Moines” and “Dogs Can Grow Beards All Over,” among others. The set hits retail stores and online outlets this Tuesday (June 26).
The Devil Wears Prada are known for their live shows, and the guys will flex their musical muscles on the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival. The annual metal festival kids off June 30 in San Bernardino, Calif. and continues for well over a month before wrapping August 5 in Hartford, Conn. The bill also features Corey Taylor-fronted metal outfit Slipknot, heavy metal band Slayer, thrashers Anthrax, Christian metal band As I Lay Dying, Asking Alexandria, Whitechapel and more. Following Mayhem, the gentlemen will head over to Europe to tour with August Burns Red in October and November.
