Jack White’s latest video has the singer getting in trouble with the cops

Jack White has a new single out called “Freedom at 21,” and the alternative rock personality will debut the music video for the song this Monday (July 16). Fans who want an early taste of what to expect from “Freedom” are in luck, though, as White has posted a 34-second teaser clip online featuring White racing a flashy, lime-green vehicle down a dusty desert highway and then getting caught by the cops and put in jail.

“Freedom at 21” comes off White’s massively successful debut solo album, “Blunderbuss,” which dropped earlier this year and debuted No. 1 on the Billboard 200. White has been playing a scattering of live shows in support of the album this year, and he’s also set to appear as a headliner at New Orleans’ upcoming Voodoo Music Experience along with Green Day and Neil Young & Crazy Horse. That show takes place Oct. 26 through 28 at New Orleans’ City Park. To check out the full festival band lineup, check out the event’s official website.

In more White business, the singer and songwriter is scheduled to take part in a live chat about his life, legacy and music at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, Calif. The event, called “A Conversation with Jack White,” will happen on Aug. 10 at 4 p.m. ET.  Members of the Third Man Records Vault may enter to score free tickets to the event via the Modlife website, and American Express card holders may get their hands on a special pre-sale running now through Aug. 1. General public tickets go on sale on Aug. 1, and for more information on tickets, hit up GrammyMuseum.org/White.
