Motorhead Get Their Own Brand of Headphones and Earphones
Motorhead’s ‘Motörheadphönes’ headphone and earphone line reaches stores next month
Everybody knows Lemmy Kilmister and the guys of Motorhead are one of the loudest rock and roll bands of all times. That said, it’s appropriate that the band have revealed that they will shoot off their own signature line of headphones and earphones, called Motörheadphönes, sometime in September.
“No weak-kneed, lily-livered, tin-pot and skinny-sounding little pieces of garbage, no, that ain’t Motörhead’s style,” the band humorously said in an official statement. “These are headphönes designed to deliver everything louder than everything else BUT with the sort of range, clarity and TRUE rock reproduction you’d expect from a band of road warriors who have been at the top of the tree year after year.”
The headphones will be marketed to the “rock/pop audience, a target group who are critical listeners and goes with the attitude that rock stands for,” according to Blabbermouth.net.
Those looking to get their ears on these special Motörheadphönes (the earphones) will be set back between $63 and $79. The headphones cost a little more, starting at roughly $111. Motorhead will unleash the debut set of Motörheadphönes at a press conference in Berlin on Aug. 31. For more information on Motorhead’s latest venture, head to Motorheadphones.com.
