Deftones Announce New Album Details, Fall Tour Dates
Deftones will release their seventh studio album in November
So far, 2012 has proven an up year for Deftones, who have been working hard on recording their new album and spent much of the summer touring in support of rockers System of a Down. Now, Deftones have finally unleashed the details on their upcoming full-length, the follow-up to “Diamond Eyes,” which debuted inside the Top 20 on the Billboard 200 chart back in May of 2012.
Deftones seventh studio album, “Koi No Yokan,” will arrive on Nov. 13. In addition to announcing the album’s release, the band also announced a fresh round of tour dates in support of the new album this week. Deftones’ fall tour will kick off Oct. 9 at the Ventura Theatre in Ventura, Calif., and make stops in Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, Detroit and beyond before wrapping up Oct. 30 in New York.
As for the opening act, Scars on Broadway, a side project spearheaded by System of a Down guitarist Daron Malakian, will serve as support for Deftones on all the fall tour dates. Tickets for the upcoming concerts will go on sale beginning Sept. 7 via Ticketmaster. Check out the full tour roster below.
