Watch Foster the People, Jack White and Guns N’ Roses Play Bridge School Benefit
This weekend’s Bridge School Benefit will feature performances by Jack White, Guns N’ Roses and Foster the People
Foster the People, Jack White and Guns N’ Roses and are donating their time and talents to rock the 26th annual edition of Neil Young’s Bridge School Benefit Concert this weekend. The high-profile charity show takes place in Mountain View, Calif., and if that’s a bit too far of a trek for fans, organizers are making it easy to watch all the active via an eight-hour webcast of Saturday’s (Oct. 20) event at the Shoreline Amphitheatre.
The show will stream live via the Bridge School Benefit’s official Facebook page, BridgeSchoolBenefit.org, beginning at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. To get access to watch the special, acoustic gig, fans are asked to please donate at least $5, which will go towards the cause.
Of course, this year’s lineup packs more than Jack White, GN’R and Foster the People. Other performers booked for the 2012 Bridge School Benefit Concert include Neil Young & Crazy Horse, the Flaming Lips, Lucinda Williams, Gary Clark Jr., comedian Steve Martin and his bluegrass band the Steep Canyon Rangers and Sarah McLachlan, to name a few.
Young and his wife, Pegi, organize the charity even each year in an effort to raise money for the Bridge School, an organization that helps children with physical impairments and severe communication difficulties. For more information about this weekend’s concert or how to donate to the Bridge School, visit the facility’s official website.
