Red Hot Chili Peppers Release Two New Songs from ‘I’m With You’ Sessions
Red Hot Chili Peppers have unleashed two new tracks: ‘Never Is a Long Time’ and ‘Love of Your Life’
Red Hot Chili Peppers have posted new music for fans that can’t get enough of the alternative funk-rockers. Fans can now hear two bonus tracks lingering from the recording sessions for the Peppers’ latest full-length, “I’m With You.”
The guys have released videos for “Never Is a Long Time” and “Love of Your Life” via YouTube, and both offer a full stream of the song, plus a trippy image of a 7” vinyl single revolving on a record player. The new tunes are the third pair of songs unleashed in their current 18-track singles series, which started in August and features cuts that didn’t quite make “I’m With You.”
Not only are “Never Is a Long Time” and “Love of Your Life” available to stream online, but fans may also buy the songs via the band’s official webstore, on Amazon.com and iTunes. The rest of the set’s tunes will be hand-picked by the band soon. Look for them to arrive in November, December and in early 2013.
In other Peppers news, bass player Flea and singer Anthony Kiedis recently announced that they’ll host a benefit for the Silverlake Conservatory of Music at Flea’s Los Angeles home. The benefit concert is set for this October, and more information can be found via the Silver Lake Conservatory’s official website.
