Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus has kicked off his own clothing line, called My Name is Mark

Blink-182 have been hard at work in the studio, laying down new tracks for an upcoming EP, but bass player and vocalist Mark Hoppus has also kept busy with another venture. Like his band mates, Hoppus has launched his own clothing line, called My Name is Mark.

Hoppus’ signature line will offer four limited edition T-shirts, which are slated to arrive one per week for the next four weeks. Each tee will be for sale for just seven days or until it sells out. The first shirt is available now on My Name Is Mark’s website. Design-wise, it features the clothing line’s logo: a picture of an octopus.

“I’ve been using the octopus logo over the past few years, and throughout, people have asked, ‘what’s up with the octopus?,’” Hoppus said in a statement. “It’s an easy answer. Music. Friends. Art. Travel. Adventure. Quotes from your favorite movies. The ocean. Punk rock clubs. Video games. Websites that make you laugh. Literature. Photos of good memories. London, Los Angeles, New York, and everywhere in between. I hope that narrows it down.”

As for Blink-182’s upcoming EP, “dogs eating dogs,” the band will release the set via their official website beginning Dec. 18. The pop-punk trio will offer the collection in three limited-edition gift packages, with packages offering a different assortment of Blink- branded items, such as T-shirts, limited edition posters and more. For more information on the upcoming EP, visit Blink-182’s official website.
