Imagine Dragons Announce 2013 North American Tour Dates
Indie rockers Imagine Dragons to take ‘Night Visions’ on the road
Las Vegas-based indie rock group Imagine Dragons are wrapping up 2012 with not just one but two songs on Nielsen’s BDS Alternative Radio chart: the folk-y, rousing “It’s Time” and the anthemic, dubstep-inspired “Radioactive.” Now, the guys have announced their much-anticipated 2013 U.S. and Canadian tour, and the jaunt is set to hit over two dozen cities this February and March.
Imagine Dragons’ 2013 trek is scheduled to open at the Marquee in Tempe, Ariz., on Feb. 8 and wrap up at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, Colo., on March 23. Altus Genius will support the band on the tour. Tickets for all of the just-announced tour dates are available through Live Nation via the band’s Facebook tour tab. Check out the full roster of tour dates below.
Imagine Dragons are on the road to promote their full-length debut album, “Night Visions,” which entered the Billboard 200 chart at No. 2 back in September, selling over 83,000 copies. The release also reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative Albums chart. Sonically, “Night Visions” is plush and sweeping, with charming, synth-inspired dance-pop and folk-based pop sounds. Check out Audio Ink Radio’s review of the band’s lead single off the album, “It’s Time,” here.
