Now, fans won’t have to worry about waiting around to hear new music from Mumford & Sons, as banjo player Winston Marshall says that the neo-folk group has already started writing new music for the band’s upcoming, third studio album.
“We’ve just started working on new songs, got a rehearsal studio,” Marshall told NME. “They’re bones of songs, but really exciting bones. Sturdy bones.”
As for what else is on tap for Mumford & Sons in 2013, Marshall says that the group will do plenty of touring next year, including additional stops for their Gentlemen of the Road Stopover series, which takes the band through a variety of unique concert venues.
