Paramore Announce New Album Title, Release Date
Paramore are set to release their fourth studio album this spring
Get ready for new music from Paramore. The alternative pop-rock band have announced the name and release date for their highly-anticipated, upcoming fourth studio album. The band’s new album will actually be self-titled and reach stores and online outlets on April 9. What more, the upcoming album will mark a new stage for Paramore, as it will be the band’s first without brothers Zac and Josh Farro, who exited Paramore in 2010 and put together their own band, Novel American.
Paramore dropped the album news via their official blog, stating, “the whole making of this album was a rediscovering of ourselves as a band and as friends. It was a process that allowed us the freedom to explore new territory artistically and to liberate ourselves as musicians, singers, as people!”
Not wasting any time, the band also announced that the debut single from the new album will be “Now.” A release date for the single is expected to be announced soon.
“Not really sure what else to say except for we love this song,” they said, regarding the new single. “It just feels like the perfect way to start this new journey we are embarking on not only as a band but as a movement. To show people that you can lose battles but come back and win full on wars.”
They added, “You can rise from ashes. You can make something out of even less than nothing. The only thing you have to do is keep moving forward!”
