Chris Cornell Announces 2016 International Solo Tour
Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell is taking ‘Higher Truth’ on a world tour
Chris Cornell is taking his “Higher Truth” around the world. The Soundgarden vocalist has announced a solo acoustic tour of Europe and Israel in 2016. The tour will begin on March 23 in Reykjavik, Iceland, and run through Europe before wrapping up on May 7 in Caesarea, Israel.
Cornell is touring behind his latest solo album, “Higher Truth.” The album’s first single, “Nearly Forgot My Broken Heart,” is currently No. 3 on the Nielsen BDS mainstream rock radio chart. Cornell is also touring to support “Higher Truth” in the U.S., and the run wraps up on Nov. 7 in Houston, Texas. After that, he’ll head to New Zealand and Australia in November and December.
