Alice in Chains, Limp Bizkit, Lynyrd Skynyrd to Headline Welcome to Rockville

This year’s Welcome to Rockville Festival will feature Alice in Chains, Limp Bizkit, Lynyrd Skynyrd and more
It’s still the dead of winter, but festival season is fast approaching. The annual Welcome to Rockville Festival is set for April 27 and 28 at Metropolitan Park in Jacksonville, Fla., and Alice in Chains, Limp Bizkit and Lynyrd Skynyrd have all inked on to headline the show.
Other bands confirmed for the third annual festival include Shinedown, 3 Doors Down, Stone Sour, Papa Roach, Bullet for My Valentine, Three Days Grace, Halestorm, Buckcherry, Hollywood Undead, Skillet, All That Remains, Device (featuring David Draiman of Disturbed), Asking Alexandria, Escape the Fate, Filter, Young Guns, In This Moment, Steel Panther, Motionless In White, Pop Evil, Otherwise, Saving Abel, Nonpoint, Red, Thousand Foot Krutch, Gemini Syndrome and Girl on Fire, to name a few.
Two-day passes for Welcome to Rockville begin at $99.50 and will go on sale on Tuesday (Jan. 29). For more information and the full lineup, head to the Welcome to Rockville Festival website.
In other festival news, the 2013 Rock on the Range lineup was announced this week, and headliners include the Smashing Pumpkins, Alice in Chains and Soundgarden. Rock on the Range is set for May 17 through 19 at Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.
