Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blur, Stone Roses to Play Coachella 2013
Coachella 2013 will offer performances from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blur, the Stone Roses and more
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is an annual alternative music bash that happens over two weekends in Indio, Calif. This year, the festival will follow in that two-weekend tradition, and the lineup will be the same on both weekends.
This year’s bill features several newly-reunited bands, such as the Stone Roses, Blur and the Postal Service. Other major acts on tap include the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Phoenix, Vampire Weekend and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
As for the daily lineup, performers for Friday, April 12, and Friday, April 19, include the Stone Roses, Blur, Modest Mouse, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Lou Reed, among others. Acts set to take the stage on Saturday, April 13, and Saturday, April 20, include Phoenix, the Postal Service, Sigur Ros, New Order, the XX and Franz Ferdinand. Sunday, April 14, and Sunday, April 21, will offer performances from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Vampire Weekend, the Wu-Tang Clan and more.
