Smashing Pumpkins, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden to Play Rock on the Range 2013
The Rock on the Range 2013 lineup will feature Smashing Pumpkins, Alice in Chains and Soundgarden
The 2013 Rock on the Range music festival lineup it out, and it draws a bevy of talent from the ‘90s to today. Soundgarden, Smashing Pumpkins and Alice in Chains have been confirmed to perform at this year’s festival, which is set for May 17 through 19 at Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.
“We’re really looking forward to returning to Rock on the Range with a batch of brand-new killer Alice tunes to play for everyone,” Alice in Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell said in an official statement.
Of course, the lineup doesn’t stop there. Other acts booked for the seventh annual festival include Stone Sour, Papa Roach, Bush, Three Days Grace, Volbeat, Buckcherry, Device (featuring Disturbed frontman David Draiman), Bullet for My Valentine, Young Guns and Sevendust, among others.
Korn are also booked for the festival, and the band will be playing with their former guitarist, Brian “Head” Welch. “Head is back!!,” Korn frontman Jonathan Davis said. “Rock on the Range is going to start it all off!! Get ready, we are going to hit it hard!!”
Pre-sale tickets for Rock on the Range are available now via the festival’s official website. Tickets go on-sale to the general public Friday, Feb. 1, at 10 a.m. ET.
