Goo Goo Dolls and Matchbox Twenty Announce 2013 Summer Tour
This summer will bring a lengthy co-headlining run for the Goo Goo Dolls and Matchbox Twenty
The rumored trek feature the Goo Goo Dolls and Matchbox Twenty isn’t such a rumor anymore, as the groups have officially announced they’re joining up for a co-headlining North American tour this summer. The tour sets off June 15 at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, N.H., and hits over 30 cities before wrapping up Aug. 18 at the Comcast Center in Mansfield, Mass. Tickets for the run go on sale starting March 23 via Ticketmaster, and some of the best seats in the house will be for sale online at TicketsforCharity.com, with proceeds benefiting City of Hope.
The Goo Goo Dolls are out in support of their upcoming studio album “Magnetic,” which is slated to reach stores and online outlets on May 7. Matchbox Twenty are touring to promote their current release, “North,” and are looking at a new single to hit radio soon, “Our Song.”
Of course, both bands carry a slew of pop-rock chart-toppers, and expect to hear all the classics on the run, too. Check out the full itinerary below.
