Imagine Dragons guitarist Wayne Sermon says the band is upping the game on their current headlining tour

“Radioactive” hit-makers Imagine Dragons set off on their debut headlining tour earlier this month, and the band went to great lengths to make sure the show would be a special spectacle. Imagine Dragons are not only brings fresh tracks off their debut album “Night Visions” on the tour, but they’re also bringing along a stellar stage show.

“We are definitely upping our game as far as what we are doing on the stage,” guitar player Wayne Sermon told The Aquarian Weekly, when asked about the live show. “We are bringing in a lot of new elements, a lot of new lighting elements, and new instruments, expanding everything out. We put a lot of love and care into making it something special that people will remember.”

When the conversation switched to new music, Sermon explained that while the band plan to tour for most of this year, that doesn’t mean they won’t be planning for their next album. “We’re going to dedicate this year to promoting that record and playing songs off of it,” he said. “At the same time, we’re always writing wherever we can squeeze a laptop into a tight space for Imagine Dragons, whether it’s on a plane, a train, a car, somewhere.”
