Lollapalooza Lineup to Drop on April 9
The 2013 Lollapalooza lineup will be announced on April 9
Lollapalooza fans have been counting down the days until the 2013 edition of the festival ever since the show wrapped up last year. Now, they won’t have to wait much longer to know the lineup for the festival, as producer have announced that they will unveil the official lineup for this year’s chapter at 12:01 a.m. CT on April 9.
Of course, some bands are already heavily rumored to play the 2013 festivities. Recently, the Chicago Tribune reported that Mumford & Sons, Phoenix, Vampire Weekend and the Killers would all be headliners for this year’s festival. The publication added that other acts slated to perform include the National and the Postal Service, the latter which features Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard and electronic performer Jimmy Tamborello.
Lollapalooza 2013 will take place August 2-4 in Grant Park in Chicago. Last year’s lineup included Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jack White of White Stripes, the Black Keys and Florence + the Machine, among others.
