MGMT Announce 2013 North American Tour Dates
MGMT are hitting the road this spring in support of their upcoming, self-titled album
Alternative rockers MGMT hit it big back in 2008 with their pop-happy tracks “Kids” and “Time to Pretend.” Now, the Brooklyn, N.Y.-based band is working hard on their upcoming album, which is slated to hit stores and online outlets in June. In advance of the release, the band has already started plotting out North American tour dates, and they’ll be hitting the road in late April to support the new release.
MGMT’s North American tour sets off on April 26 at Penn State University in University Park, Penn., and will travel through Michigan, Ohio, Maine, Washington and beyond before wrapping up July 13 at Cincinnati’s Bunbury Music Festival. The trek also features a stop at Firefly Music Festival in Delaware. Check out a full list of tour dates below, and for more information on the tour and how to purchase tickets, head to the band’s official website.
The group’s upcoming, self-titled album will be the follow-up to their 2010 release, “Congratulations.”
